Stars and Stripes Forever runner (day 2 of 2)
Peggy will teach you to make this great runner that acan be used many times throughout the year. You will use a combination of foundation piecing, regular piecing and raw edge fusible applique to complete this project. Project is from the "Table Runner for All Seasons" book which is available in the shop for $12.99 if you don't already own it. Kits are available or you can use your own fabrics.
You will need:
1/2 yard white with dots
1/2 yard blue with dots
1/8 yard each red tonal, red with text, and red with dots
1/8 yard each white with red text and white with red dots
18" x 48" backing and batting
3 (9" x9") squares of paper for for strip piecing
small piece of fusible web with paper backing
Template material
Thread for piecing and applique
basic sewing tools and supplies.
Lunch is not provided, so please plan ahead.
Class fee is $15/day, use only the day(s) you need.
Day 2, come back for assistance in completing your runner
